The Gaudi of Barcelona

Gaudí did most of his work in Barcelona; The buildings of him decisively influenced the urban landscape of the city. But it must also be taken into account that the city marked his work; and it is that architecture has always had an enormous weight in the urban and social history of Barcelona. Furthermore, the circumstance arose that Gaudí's life paralleled the complex sociocultural phenomenon of Modernisme.
